Uruma Theater Kimutaka Hall is in a complex facility along with the Civic Center and the Koryu Hiroba (Exchange Plaza). The Hall is well-equipped with acoustic and lighting systems, and its stage layout can be set in six different patterns. It is also known as a training hall for a modern version of kumiodori (a traditional Ryukyuan dance) which is designated as a “Heritage for the Future.” “Kimutaka-no Amawari” depicts the life of Amawari, a Ryukyuan Lord of Katsuren Castle, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
