Built about 700 years ago, and most of the structure is reserved as its original state. Walls were made from natural rocks on naturally formed terrain. Large scale limestone masonry pile-up technique (Aikata-zumi) is worth seeing. The castle ruins stands on a hill overlooking both the East China Sea and Pacific Ocean.
