Ishigaki branch is a field agency of Okinawa Agricultural Research Center. To promote agriculture in Yaeyama area, both centers cooperate in experiments and research. Visitors can see the sugar cane, paddy-field rice and pineapple bleeding, experiment and research of cultivation techniques.
