The largest second home for the Ryukyu Kingdom royal family used for their recreation and for welcoming envoys from foreign nations. Built in the late 18th century, it is best enjoyed by strolling around a pond while viewing the Chinese style hexagonal arbor and arched bridges. The garden uses Ryukyu’s ingenuity.
