“Learning about the Marine debris and Microplastics on the beautiful beach”, NPO Nature Experience School
添加到我的列表The ocean occupies 70% of the earth's surface area. The problem of marine litter floating in the ocean must be addressed by the world. Every day, trash from all over the world is washed up on Okinawa's beaches.
[Beach Cleanup]
The sparkling white sand of Okinawa's beaches attracts many visitors. However, garbage from all over the world is washed up on the beaches every day. Participate in a beach cleanup to see the problem of marine debris with your own eyes.
[Workshop]
It is believed that we are already consuming microplastics. But have you ever actually seen microplastics? In this workshop, we will be removing microplastics from sand collected at the beach.
[Lecture]
The staff at the Nature Experience School will present lectures on marine debris and microplastics. Through the lectures, participants will be able to deepen their understanding of what they experienced and learned during the beach cleanup and workshop, and connect it to their daily actions.
