Chijinshu Wakat-da is composed of energetic young people creating a
new Ryukyuan drum culture within Okinawa’s cultures and traditions.
You can experience their passionate performances of Eisa, Lion
dance, Sanshin, Karate and drumming. They have also formed a
group of drummers to encourage youth development and are currently
teaching drumming to 13 groups of children.
