In addition, transportation by bus and taxi on the Okinawa Main Island is very convenient. Regular ferries from major ports on the Main Island to other islands are also available.

Climate
39The climate of Okinawa is very mild throughout the year with an average temperature of about 22 degrees Celsius. Even in winter the temperature is about 15 degrees Celsius. Various marine sports can be enjoyed in summer, and there are many beautiful flowers coloring the landscape even in winter
